bcb723 To level set expectations, it should go without saying that Ikotka playing lullabies would not make for an easy listening experience. This EP is scary. Raw, noisy and primitive, the three obsessed just absolutely go for the throat here. Sweet dreams. PS. - that cover is just fucked up. Favorite track: Сегодня Усни, а Завтра - Помри.

"Smertnye Kolybel'nye" (EP):

This time, the three men obsessed with Ikotka performed a several traditional Russian lullabies with death wishes. The songs are a little noisier and more primitive than before. Intro "Sleepy" is inspired by the short story of the same name by A.P. Chekhov.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
